Andrew Ng released OpenWorker, an MIT-licensed open-source desktop AI agent that returns finished deliverables instead of chat replies. The Tauri 2 and React shell wraps a local Python FastAPI server built on aisuite. A typed risk engine gates tool calls across five permission modes. Users bring their own API key or run fully local models through Ollama.
