VMO2 Tests Nvidia GPUs vs Ericsson Chips

Virgin Media O2 installed an Nvidia processor at a London site to test AI benefits for radio access networks. The trial achieved a 20% improvement in spectral efficiency. VMO2 has already spent about £1.4 billion on upgrades and currently uses Ericsson in the north and Nokia in the south.
