Ransomware attacks jumped nearly 20 percent in July, with Comparitech counting 799 incidents, up from 668 in June. Finance, tech, pharma, medical billers, and education saw the biggest increases. Qilin and The Gentlemen claimed 125 and 135 victims, respectively. The US was the top target with 322 attacks.
