Volvo launches lower-priced EV in 2027

Volvo plans to launch the EX50, a lower-priced electric SUV based on the SPA3 platform, in 2027. Deliveries begin after summer, targeting a European market segment where the current EX60 ranges from £57,000 to £70,000. The vehicle is expected to start under $50,000 and replaces the discontinued EX30 in the US lineup.
