Gemini Desktop May Get Multi-App Tasks Mode

Google is reportedly testing a Tasks mode in the Gemini desktop app that would let the assistant carry out multi-step work across apps with less user input. New Computer Use settings would let users choose which desktop apps Gemini can operate, and Gemini Live could allow voice conversation while it works. The Windows client launched earlier this month.
