NASA and IBM Release Open-Source Lunar AI Model

NASA and IBM have released an open-source AI foundation model trained on a large collection of lunar observations. The model is designed to help scientists analyze the Moon at scale by connecting data across different instruments and revealing patterns difficult to see in isolation. It is claimed to be the first AI model to integrate observations captured in a range of modalities.
