Hong Kong officials reaffirmed plans to submit an amendment bill by end-2026 for digital asset trading, custody, advisory and management services. Secretary Christopher Hui stated the government will submit the bill within this year, following HKMA granting licenses to Anchorpoint Financial and HSBC in April.
