Employers prize MBA people skills but can't measure them

60% of employers rejected a finalist due to weak people skills, and 53% promoted someone primarily for those skills. 79% say human competencies outweigh AI or technical skill for leadership roles. Yet 75% admit soft skills are harder to evaluate than technical ones, and 13% do not assess them at all.
