Tensordyne bets on log math to beat Nvidia

AI startup Tensordyne taped out its first commercial accelerator on TSMC's 3nm process. The chip uses logarithms and the Mitchell approximation with hardware correction to replace multiplication with addition, claiming higher throughput and lower power than GPUs.
