Mercado Bitcoin Raises $20M Series C

Mercado Bitcoin, Latin America's largest digital assets platform, raised $20 million in the first close of its Series C round led by Tether, with participation from founders and SoftBank. The company will expand payments infrastructure, scale tokenized investment products, strengthen lending, and develop on-chain capital markets. It has processed over $30 billion in transactions and serves 4.5 million users.
