Xbox hardware spending doubles year-on-year

Xbox Series X/S hardware spending more than doubled year-on-year in June, the only platform to grow. Overall US video game spending dropped 21 percent to $4.5bn. Hardware spending fell 62 percent. Nintendo Switch 2 led unit and dollar sales. PS5 spending dropped 19 percent.
