Electric drone hits 434 mph world record

Quantum Systems Group recorded its Apex Recordhunter drone at 434 mph (699 km/h) in straight and level flight, beating the 409 mph record. The Munich-based firm plans a formal Guinness World Record attempt in the coming weeks. The drone is designed for anti-aircraft interceptor roles.
