Biohub, Meta, Google pool $1.8bn for AI biology

Biohub, the US Department of Energy, the National Institutes of Health, Meta, Google DeepMind, and Isomorphic Labs pool $1.8bn to fund AI models predicting cell behavior. The commercial partners contribute $300M for exclusive one-year access before the data becomes a public resource. Partners aim to release a first dataset in about a year.
