Legion LegalTech sues US over Anthropic model shutdown

Legion LegalTech Corp sued the federal government over a June 12 Commerce Department directive that forced Anthropic to disable its Fable 5 and Mythos 5 AI models worldwide. The San Jose company, which depends on those models for its legal software, called the harm "immediate, irreparable, and existential." The complaint was filed Tuesday in Washington, DC, seeking to vacate the order and block enforcement.
