A homelabber replaced Cloudflare Tunnel with self-hosted Pangolin, then audited every Cloudflare dependency. The project revealed which Cloudflare services were necessary and which could be dropped. Cloudflare had become the load-bearing layer of the homelab, handling ingress, internal access, and DNS resolution.
