Tchap data breach affects over 73,000 French govt employees

A breach of France's Tchap encrypted messaging platform exposed data of over 73,000 public sector employees. DINUM disclosed that an attacker used a compromised account to steal names, emails, avatars, and employer details from unencrypted public chat rooms. Private conversations remained protected.
