SpaceX alum raises $22M for geothermal turbines

Critical Energy raised $19 million in seed funding to build modular turbines for geothermal power plants. The startup aims to fill a shortage of compatible turbines and build its first 2.5 megawatt project. CEO Spencer Jackson, a SpaceX veteran, expects gigawatt-scale production within four to five years.
