Onton released Ontology 1, a neurosymbolic model for conversational, multimodal product search. On a 90-query benchmark, it scored 0.630 mean precision@10, beating Google Shopping's 0.543 and Amazon's 0.469 while indexing roughly 1% of their catalogs. It is live at Onton.com.
