Footballer Licenses AI Clone for Deals

Socceroo Cristian Volpato signed a deal in mid-September with California company Callandor to license his AI likeness. The firm gained exclusive rights to his digital voice and biometric data to create synthetic twins for brand deals. While Volpato is the latest athlete to do so, Brazilian star Neymar licensed his image to a Chinese platform in June.
