AMD Details Next-Gen EPYC 9006 Venice Server CPUs

AMD has outlined its EPYC 9006 Venice server CPU family, built on Zen 6 and TSMC 2nm. Dense chips reach 256 cores, up from 192, while high-performance parts drop to 96 cores. Venice adds 16 memory channels, PCIe 6, CXL 3.1 and cache-coherent xGMI linking CPUs and GPUs. Launch is approaching, with an AI-focused LPDDR variant due in 2027.
