AstroTalk reached a $1 billion valuation through an ESOP buyback, making it India's newest unicorn. Over 100 employees can sell shares, funded from business profits, not external funding. Founded in 2017 by Puneet Gupta and Anmol Jain, it started as an online astrology consultation platform.
