Govt Regulates AI Use on Indian TV

India's Ministry of Information and Broadcasting issued an advisory on Wednesday warning private satellite television channels to strictly adhere to the Programme Code regarding artificial intelligence usage. The ministry advised limiting AI tools to assistive capacity to ensure news accuracy and authenticity, citing violations of the Cable Television Networks Rules, 1994.
