AI chipmaker Groq confirmed a $650 million funding round six months after Nvidia signed a non-exclusive licensing deal and hired its founder and CEO. The company pivoted to its neocloud business, now operating 13 data centers and serving over five million developers. Groq hired Alan Rice as COO and Sinclair Schuller as CTO.
