Vercel's elastic build machines now monitor memory usage and automatically adjust to prevent out-of-memory failures. Thresholds balance deployment reliability and cost. Builds near OOM are upgraded to a higher tier. Only the build's memory usage is considered, not Vercel's infrastructure.
