OpenAI has hired Paul Meade, Apple's vice president of hardware engineering for the Vision Products Group, to work on its upcoming line of AI-powered devices. Meade led Apple Vision Pro hardware engineering for seven years and oversaw Apple's smart glasses efforts. His responsibilities will shift to deputy Fletcher Rothkopf.
