Xbox Plans Layoffs as Revenue, Profit Margins Decline

Microsoft's Xbox division is planning another significant round of layoffs next month, shortly after the company's fiscal year ends on June 30. The gaming unit will also see major reductions in marketing and other business area budgets. The cuts follow nearly 10,000 layoffs last summer and the closure of studios like Arkane Austin and Tango Gameworks.
