The Council of Europe is investigating claims by the ShinyHunters extortion group that it stole over 429,000 documents containing HR and payroll data. The stolen files allegedly include payslips for 10,000+ staff, personnel files, CVs, and sensitive personal and financial information. ShinyHunters threatened to leak the data by June 16, 2026.
