Trump, Tech CEOs Sign Voluntary AI Safety Pact

President Trump announced a morally binding AI safety accord, the Joint Commitment On Frontier Responsibilities, signed by Google, Anthropic, Meta, OpenAI, xAI and Nvidia executives. The four rules require internal controls, monitoring teams, external auditors and board oversight, but carry no penalties. Trump also ordered the government to call AI 'Super Intelligence' and proposed a ten-member oversight committee.
