Compromised Login Exposes Millions of California Students

Educational Testing Service (ETS) disclosed that a compromised login credential allowed unauthorized access to a secure file transfer system from May 22, 2026 to September 18, 2026. The breach exposed personal data for more than 5.7 million current and former California public school students, including names, addresses, and test results.
