Google Fights EU Order to Open Android AI

Google is challenging the European Commission's July order under the Digital Markets Act that would force it to open Android to rival AI assistants and share Search data with competitors. The Android changes could let users set an assistant like ChatGPT as default and summon it by voice. Google argues the Search requirement risks exposing personal queries to rivals without sufficient anonymization.
