Citi analysts warned that quantum computing advances pose significantly greater risk to Bitcoin than Ethereum. Google Quantum AI found the computing resources needed to break Bitcoin's cryptography are 20 times lower than estimated. A quantum computer with fewer than 500,000 physical qubits could derive a Bitcoin private key in nine minutes.
