Google Play funds ten African game studios

Google Play launched a $1 million equity-free fund for independent game developers across 32 African countries. The program awards between $50,000 and $200,000 to each of the ten selected studios alongside technical support from industry experts. Applications remain open until July 31 with winners announced in September.
