Samsung may make LG IoT chips

LG Electronics may have Samsung Foundry manufacture its new IoT chips for AI home appliances, shifting from TSMC. CoAsia SEMI will design the chips, with a KRW 31 billion budget. The project is part of South Korea's KRW 800 billion K-On-Device AI Semiconductor initiative running through July 2030.
