Tencent Launches TenPayGo for Foreign Visitors

Tencent launched TenPayGo, a payment app letting foreign visitors to China pay tens of millions of merchants through Visa, Mastercard and Apple Pay. The move targets tourists who previously struggled with WeChat Pay and Alipay, which require Chinese bank accounts. It opens a vast cashless market to international cards, easing a long-standing barrier for inbound travel.
