Developer Tomaž Štih has ported the Atari ST's GEM graphical desktop environment to Linux. The project, derived from OpenGEM and FreeGEM, uses an SDL2-based Rasta framebuffer emulator to run applications either directly via the Linux framebuffer or within a window.
