A fourth sweep of Coldcard-generated bitcoin addresses is underway, moving about 1,816 bitcoin, roughly $114 million, from over 5,200 addresses since July 30. The latest transactions use replace-by-fee, letting victims outbid the attacker before confirmation. The flaw traces to a March 2021 firmware build with a predictable software randomizer.
