Marathi Film Gondhal Selected for 2027 Oscars

The Film Federation of India has chosen the Marathi thriller Gondhal as the country's official entry for the 99th Academy Awards in 2027. The film, directed by Santosh Davakhar, is built around the traditional Gondhal ritual of Maharashtra.
