New Tool Detects LLM Decompiler Errors

Researchers introduce Decompile-Diverge, a behavioral oracle that detects when LLM-based decompilers recompile code but fail to preserve original behavior. Testing across eight systems shows 4.9% overall divergence, with the strongest model lifting Ghidra's build rate to 90% while dropping the match rate to 62% on 300 real functions.
