A discarded SpaceX Falcon 9 upper stage will collide with the moon on Aug. 5 at 06:35 UTC near Einstein Crater, creating an 89-foot crater. The 4,000 kg object launched Jan. 15, 2025, carrying Firefly Blue Ghost Mission 1 and ispace RESILIENCE.
