Canadian e-commerce giant Shopify settled its copyright lawsuit against Hong Kong-founded competitor Shopline on June 30 via a confidential deal involving an undisclosed payment sum. The Ottawa company accused the Joyy subsidiary of copying its Dawn storefront template to build Seed, which Shopify now bars from distribution in New York courts.
