Toys for Bob is not calling the upcoming Spyro: A Realm Beyond "Spyro 4" to avoid intimidating new players. Associate creative director Lou Studdert said the team wants the game to be a welcoming entry point with no required knowledge of earlier titles. The game introduces free-flight at any time and launches on Nintendo Switch 2 next spring.
