Canada invests $70M in Quebec EV battery supply chain

Canada is investing up to $70 million in Volta Energy Solutions Canada to build a copper foil facility in Granby, Quebec. The $760.9 million project will create 260 jobs and produce 25,000 tonnes of copper starting in 2027, scaling to 63,000 tonnes.
