Hilt Raises $4.2M Seed for Kernel Security

Hilt, a cybersecurity startup founded by magician's son Will Cielen, raised $4.2 million in seed funding led by Array Ventures. The company, which moved to Chattanooga, Tennessee, builds kernel-level software to detect and stop unusual data activity in real time. Total funding now reaches $4.7 million, including a $500,000 pre-seed round from Pear VC in October 2025.
