WhatsApp adds iPad sign-up, CarPlay upgrades, and PDF editing

WhatsApp now lets users sign up for an account directly on an iPad without linking a phone. The messaging app also revamped its Apple CarPlay and Android Auto experience, adding call history and favorites access. Users can share songs from Apple Music or Spotify to their Status and open PDFs with Adobe Acrobat for in-app editing.
