Allianz to Cut 1,800 Jobs for AI

Allianz, the German insurance giant, plans to cut 1,500 to 1,800 jobs at its travel arm Allianz Partners over the next 12 to 18 months, most in call centers. The division employs about 22,600 staff, with 14,000 handling customer calls. Cuts will affect workers in Germany, France, and elsewhere in Europe.
