New Zealand startup Zenno Astronautics completed the first on-orbit test of its Z01 Supertorquer system aboard an Impulse Space satellite called Mira. The superconducting magnets use solar panel power to interact with Earth's magnetic field, enabling attitude control without fuel. This could extend satellite lifespans and enable new orbital capabilities.
