Altman Tells UN OpenAI Will Slow Down

Sam Altman told the UN Security Council in New York that OpenAI has unilaterally slowed frontier AI development before and will do so again, calling for international standards on testing, risk assessment and human oversight. He said no level of catastrophic risk is acceptable and warned against AI concentrating power in too few hands.
