Ex-NASA chief: Artemis has no lander

Former NASA administrator Jim Bridenstine warned the Artemis Moon landing plan lacks a lander, calling the current architecture extraordinarily complicated compared to Apollo's simplicity. SpaceX's lunar Starship requires multiple tanker launches and in-orbit propellant transfer. Artemis III is now an Earth orbit test, with a crewed landing slipped to Artemis IV in 2028.
