Ukrainian drones struck a Yandex data center in Sasovo, Russia, causing a massive fire that forced the facility to shut down. The site housed two Nvidia A100-based supercomputers, Chervonenkis and Lyapunov, used for training YandexGPT. Over 58,000 complaints were registered within 24 hours as services like Yandex Mail and 1C business solutions experienced disruptions.
