Life Biosciences Doses First Patient for Sight Loss Drug

Life Biosciences dosed the first patient with ER-100, a drug designed to reverse age-related sight loss by rejuvenating optic nerve cells. The study will test safety in about 18 adults with glaucoma and NAION over the next year. It is the first cellular rejuvenation therapy to receive FDA clearance for human trials.
